  • Dr. Justine Cohen-Silver

    St. Joseph's Health Centre Site Lead for the REACH School Network

    Dr. Justine Cohen-Silver is a pediatrician with a clinical and research focus supporting families to improve their determinants of health. She is the Site Medical Lead of the REACH-Parkdale School Clinic and Paediatric Research lead at St. Joseph Health Centre. Graduated from University of Toronto with a medical degree and MSc Biostatistics, MPH Health Promotion as well as paediatric residency training. Following residency she completed a fellowship in Academic Paediatrics for Urban Health at St.Michael's Hospital. Dr. Cohen-Silver is a paediatrician at Unity Health St. Michael's Hospital and St. Joseph Health Centre and is a research Investigator with the MAP Centre for Urban Health Solutions.

  • Dr. Anne Wormsbecker

    General Pediatrician, St. Joseph's Health Centre, REACH School Network

    Dr. Anne Wormsbecker MD MPH FRCPC has over a decade of experience as a paediatrician at Unity Health Toronto, through St. Joseph's Health Centre and St. Michael's Hospital. She has been part of what is now known as REACH since the St. Joseph's Parkdale clinic opened in 2015. She currently sees children at both St. Joseph's and St. Michael's REACH locations. Dr. Wormsbecker loves working with kids, parents and school team members to help students thrive at school and at home.

  • Dr. Merry Maclellan

    Family Physician, St. Joseph's Health Centre, REACH School Network

    Dr. Merry Maclellan completed an undergraduate degree in Biology and Environmental Studies at McGill University and earned her medical degree at Western University. She completed her residency at Women’s College Hospital in Toronto followed by a fellowship in Low Risk Obstetrics at Toronto’s St Joseph’s Health Centre.

    Dr. Maclellan enjoys all aspects of family medicine as well as providing obstetrical and postpartum care. She is involved in teaching residents and medical students through University of Toronto and St Joseph’s Health Centre. She is looking forward to meeting and caring for you and your family.

    In her free time she enjoys baking, spending time with friends and skiing.

  • Dr. Rachel Markin

    General Pediatrician, St. Joseph's Health Centre, REACH School Network

    Dr. Markin is a General Paediatrician (certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada), who completed her training in Paediatrics at the University of Toronto, as well as a Fellowship in Community Paediatrics at The Hospital for Sick Children. Dr. Markin has a special interest in child development, including the development of children who were born prematurely. Her current research interest is in fostering child development using the arts. At Possibilities, Dr. Markin provides general developmental assessments and developmental assessments for children born prematurely.

  • Dr. Jessica Malach

    General Pediatrician, St. Joseph's Health Centre, REACH School Network

    Dr. Jessica Malach is a consulting general paediatrician. Jessica completed her medical degree at McMaster University, and her Paediatric Residency at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. Jessica has a special interest in paediatric mental health, particularly anxiety disorders in children. In addition to her clinics at Boomerang Health, Jessica works as a paediatrician at Markham Stouffville Hospital and St. Joseph’s Health Centre Toronto. She is also involved in medical education, teaching medical students at the University of Toronto.

  • Dr. Jovian Collins

    General Pediatrician, St. Joseph's Health Centre, REACH School Network

    Dr. Collins completed her medical degree at the University of Calgary followed by her Paediatric residency and Paediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship at the University of Toronto. Alongside her work at the school clinic, Dr. Collins also works at St Joseph's Health Centre in Toronto as an on-call pediatrician. In addition, Dr. Collins works as an Emergency Medicine Physician at SickKids Hospital looking after children of all ages who require emergency care.

  • Dr. Tony Barozzino

    Medical Director (Pediatrics)


    Dr. Tony Barozzino is currently the Medical Director (Pediatrics) of the Women’s and Children’s Health Program, Unity Health Toronto. He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto. His clinical work focuses on high-risk inner city children, youth and their families.

  • Tina Allain-Rooney

    Patient Care Manager

    Tina Allain-Rooney is the patient care manager of NICU at St. Joseph’s Health Centre. She completed a BscN at St. Francis Xavier University. After a 22 year career as a staff RN, transplant coordinator and clinical research nurse in pediatric multi-organ transplantation at SickKids Hospital , she has been at St. Joseph’s for 3 years. After 3 years as a patient care coordinator and assistant patient care manager she has assumed the manager role with a focus on safety, family experience and quality improvements.

  • Elizabeth Wooster

    Research Coordinator

    Elizabeth Wooster is a doctoral candidate in the Higher Education program at OISE/UT and holds a Master of Education in Adult Education and Community Development. Her research focus includes the education and training of professionals along the training continuum, especially the role of student experience, situational learning, clinical experiences and impact of social determinants of health. She has published and presented on subjects related to the influence of curriculum change of student experience, presentation skills and techniques, self-assessment in multiple arenas, the definition of scholarship in continuing medical education and the efficacy and importance of guideline implementation.
